Incredibly beautiful hotel, breakfast each day was great and the location to public transport-city centre was perfect! We had a well-maintained room with very clean bed and an electric kettle, central heating and an iron.

The size of the room and the independence.
They are reconstructing/renovating the basement behind the garage. Our room was just above the basement. Nobody informed us about the noise which started at 7am in the morning. The breakfast was a joke and due to this not necessary. The choice was limited and the person preparing the breakfast on Sunday morning not very motivated to prepare it.

Very good room and location.
Our flight arrived at 7 am and we could not get the room untill 2 pm. Besides they didn´t give any welcoming cofee in a cold morning. We did not get any breakfast the next day because we leaved the room at 7.45 am

The hotel in a quieter part of Amsterdam which is a must at night-time. It is however only 2 mins from main tram stop, 5 mins from Heineken museum, 10 mins from Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum also. If you walk 2 streets across you are at the busy leidesplein which is also very handy. There are dutch run resteraunts on the same street as hotel, both very nice and a pub just around the corner also. Hotel itself was clean, modern, great value, staff freindly and helpfull, bed made every day, room cleaned, towels changed, breakfast included, rain shower is quality! Tv and iPod attachable radio etc. Loved my stay and if I return to Amsterdam I would choose to book La Remise 1st before anywhere else.

Elegant rooms. Beautiful design. Large bed.
Not quite used to door-less toilets... Kind of tricky steps to get to the rooms

Their breakfast and owner of hotel was good and we like them.
Location is a bit far away from center of Amsterdam and it has not four star hotel concept. Because it has few room and there is no reception and security. In addition to this, it is really difficult to find hotel because there is no signboard and hotel is not on the main street.

A great location within walking distance of everything. Alex makes you feel extremely welcome and goes above beyond the call of duty to help. Breakfasts of a morning were fantastic.

My experience at La Remise was exceptional. The owner went out of his way to help me. Great room, great location. And a great breakfast.
